A core belief

At the heart of my work is a belief that each of us holds innate wisdom. Sometimes, that inner voice just needs a safe, supportive space to be heard again.

About me and Talk To Her Psychodynamic Therapy

Feeling stuck in your reactions or relationships?

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

A space to understand yourself more deeply

I offer a warm, supportive space where we can explore what’s underneath the surface. Using a psychodynamic approach, we’ll look at the stories—both conscious and unconscious—that shape how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. With curiosity and care, we’ll begin to understand your patterns and gently shift them toward greater clarity, resilience, and ease.

Personal and professional insight

My path to this work is both personal and professional. Therapy has helped me navigate complex relationships and life experiences—including exposure to borderline and bipolar patterns growing up, grief and loss, complex trauma, and complicated family dynamics. These experiences allow me to meet you with empathy, respect, and an understanding of how layered and human these challenges can be.

Who I work with

I bring a background in journalism, non-profits, and the corporate and creative worlds. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship stress, and the impact of past experiences.

I have supported people in blended families, those who love someone with emotional or mood-related challenges or illness, and individuals navigating their own ups and downs. My work is grounded in an awareness of how identity shapes experience—I have experience working with clients who identify as queer and non-binary, as well as those who hold multiple, intersecting identities across religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. I aim to create a space that is thoughtful, inclusive, and attuned to the full complexity of who you are.

How we work together

Above all, I offer a place where you can be fully yourself—without fear of judgment or “getting it wrong.” Through conversation, reflection, and curiosity (including dreams and free association, if that resonates), we’ll explore all parts of you, understanding how each has tried to help along the way.

Sessions

In-person sessions are available on Fridays. Virtual sessions are available on other days of the week.

My office is located at Huron and Sussex, a few blocks south of Spadina and St. George stations along the Bloor subway line.

Next steps

I look forward to hearing from you. If it turns out I’m not the right fit after we meet, I’m happy to help connect you with someone who may be.

This work has been meaningful in my own life, and I’m honoured to offer that same support to others.

Feel free to reach out to schedule a free 15–30 minute consultation. If we choose to move forward, sessions are 50 mins or 75 mins long and fees are offered on a sliding scale from $55–$70/hour. You can fill out the form below or email me at tania@talktoher.ca.
